We donated to the Pediatric Oncology Department of Fundeni Clinical Institute syringe pumps and infusion pumps worth 15,000 euros. Devices are very important and children are being given a much easier infusion treatment with their help. We would never have believed that we would see some children who would be more happy for medical devices than for the toys and fruits we offered. "Wow! Syringe pumps and infusion pumps!! And how many they are!!! Now we're gonna make our perfusion and injections right away. Our hands do not have to numb for hours! We had only a device on the whole section and our turn was once a week to it, "a small leukemia-ill patient exclaimed.In order for the children's joy to grow, we also offered them gifts, sweets without sugar, fruit, toys, and to mothers a washing machine. Next to us were our friends, Catalin Morosanu, Bogdan Stoica and Superkombat president, Eduard Irimia. With their help, but especially with Catalin Morosanu, we managed to make them laugh again, both the children, but also the mothers and the medical staff.
Do you know how mothers who stay in hospital with cancer-ill children look like? Disfigured. Their eyes are empty and sad, they age too early. Smiling is not even taken into account. We have succeeded not only to snatch a smile, but even to make them laugh with their little kids.
We thank all our supporters, without which this event could not have taken place. For this year we proposed to donate infusion pumps and syringe pumps to three pediatric oncology departments in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara.
